Due to the campus internet maintenance, the deadline for the March 15 batch of MEL Visiting Fellowship Program application has been extended to March 25, 2019. Scholars who are interested in applying for the fellowship can submit an online application after March 20, 2019, when campus internet will resume function.

Types

Three types of fellowships are available: Distinguished & Zhengzhong Visiting Fellowship, Senior Visiting Fellowship, and Young Scientist Visiting Fellowship.

Support

The fellowship covers international/domestic travel expenses and accommodation, provides research funding (Young Scholar only), laboratories and office facilities with a monthly allowance of 30,000 CNY (Disinguished and Zhengzhong), 20,000 CNY (Senior Visiting) and 10,000 CNY (Young Scientist) before tax.

* The applicant must have a collaborative partner established at MEL prior to his/her application.
